Saints Row 3 cheats: the full list

Every cheat in Saints Row: The Third is a short text code you type into your character's cell phone, not a number you dial. Open the phone, choose Extras > Cheats > Add Cheat, and enter a string like cheese for cash or giveminigun for a minigun.

There are more than 80 of them, covering money, weapons, vehicles, pedestrians, and weather. That sandbox scale is close to San Andreas, whose GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition cheats run just as deep. The one catch to know first: the moment any code is active, the game switches off autosave and stops handing out achievements and trophies on that save.

We treat these as a sandbox toy for a chaos run. If you're still chasing the platinum or a full clear, keep a separate save with cheats switched off.

How to enter cheats

The menu path is the same on every platform. Pull up the in-game cell phone, go to Extras > Cheats > Add Cheat, type the exact string, and confirm. Saints Row: The Third dropped the numeric dial-pad codes from Saints Row 1 and 2, so these are all typed letters and numbers. The Saints Row 2 cheats still use that phone dial-pad system.

• PC: open the phone with Tab by default, then type each code on the keyboard.
• PS3 and Xbox 360: open the phone with Back or Select, then spell the code out on the on-screen keyboard with the controller.
• Remastered (PS4, Xbox One, Switch): the same text codes work. Once you have added a code, the Remastered cheat menu lets you toggle it on and off without retyping it.

Player and gameplay cheats

These change your character, your heat with the cops and rival gangs, and the car you're driving. cheese is the money code, and most guides put it at $100,000 a use.

World, pedestrian, and weather cheats

These rewrite the streets of Steelport, from who fills them to what falls out of the sky. They stack, so you can run zombies in a storm if you want.

Weapon spawn codes

Each code drops the weapon straight into your inventory. Melee, thrown, and heavy weapons are all here, or use letsrock to unlock every weapon in the game at once.

Vehicle spawn codes

Each code spawns the named vehicle next to you. The F-69 VTOL is the jump jet, and givedigger brings the Grave Digger monster truck.

Quasar (givequasar) and Squasar (givesquasar) are two different vehicles, so double-check which one you typed. Rockstar's spawns work differently, and the GTA 5 cheats for Xbox drop one set vehicle per code.

What cheats switch off

Activating any cheat code turns off autosave and blocks achievement and trophy unlocks for that save while at least one cheat is active. Per the Saints Row Fandom wiki and a Steam Community Remastered cheat guide, turning the cheat back off does not re-enable achievements for progress you already made with cheats on.

So the safe pattern is simple. Finish the achievement or trophy work you care about on a clean save, then start a second save purely for cheat chaos. It's the same rule we'd follow for the GTA 5 cheats on PS4.

Disputed and unconfirmed codes

A few codes show up with more than one spelling across guides, so we could not confirm a single correct string. Treat these as unconfirmed and try both variants if one does not take:

• RC Possessor: listed as givecgun on one guide and givercgun on another.
• Kanada: listed as givekanada on some guides and givekaneda on others.
• Riot Shield: giveshield appears on only one guide, so it is unconfirmed until a second source backs it up.

There is also the Invincible Pack DLC, sold for about $2.99. It adds seven more cheats that unlock by purchase and toggle from a menu rather than by a typed code, so they sit outside this list.

Which cheats to try first

For a first chaos run, we would stack goldengun, runfast, and vroom so you hit hard, never run out of stamina, and cannot lose your car. Add giveminigun or givevtol when you want to turn a district into a highlight reel.

If you just want money and gear to skip the grind, cheese plus a couple of weapon codes covers it, though remember it locks your unlocks on that save. The GTA 4 cheat codes run through a dialed phone number instead.
