Saints Row 2 cheats: every phone code

Saints Row 2 keeps all of its cheats behind one system: your character's cell phone. You dial a code that starts with a #, call it, and it drops into a permanent Cheats menu on the phone that you toggle on and off from then on.

The one thing to settle before you dial anything is the cost. Almost every code switches off autosave and blocks new achievements and trophies on that save, which then wears an orange star icon for the rest of the file's life.

Three promotional vehicle codes are the only exceptions on PC and Xbox 360, and we've flagged them in their own section. Every code here is available from the very start, so there's no unlock grind, and the digits are the same on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Stilwater is cut from the same cloth as San Andreas, and the GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition cheats cover that world.

Player and combat cheats

These change your character directly. Never Die is the one we reach for first, and Infinite Sprint is the quiet workhorse that makes crossing Stilwater on foot bearable.

Notoriety, chaos, and physics cheats

This is where the sandbox gets loud. Add the notoriety codes when you want a fight, and clear them the same way you would at a Forgive and Forget.

Time and weather cheats

Six of these set a fixed state, and the last one hands control back to the game. The time codes only change the hour, so the minutes on the clock stay put.

Free vehicle codes

Each code below drops that vehicle straight into your garage the moment you activate it, from pocket bikes up to a UFO. Three of them, the Peewee, the Gyro Daddy, and the D-Stroy, are the promotional codes that skip the achievement penalty on PC and Xbox 360. Rockstar's open-world crime games handle spawns similarly, and the GTA 3 Definitive Edition cheat list covers the tank and Rhino.

A quick honesty note on the names. A few vehicle spellings vary between GameFAQs and the Saints Row wiki, the Attrazione and Stilwater Municipal among them, but the code digits agree across sources, so dial the numbers and you'll get the right ride.

Free weapon codes

Each code hands you the named weapon on the spot. Most firearms arrive with 500 rounds, the grenade-type throwables come with 20 charges, the two rocket launchers carry 20 rockets each, and melee weapons carry no ammo at all.

The money code

There's exactly one money cheat, and it's a flat payout rather than an unlimited tap.

You can dial it as the letters #cashmoneyz or as its keypad equivalent, #2274666399, since the phone maps letters to digits the same way a real T9 keypad does. That trick works for the other letter codes too: #sunny is Clear Skies (#78669), #scooter is the Peewee (#7266837), and #gyro is the Gyro Daddy (#4976).

How to enter cheats on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360

The core steps are the same everywhere. Open the cell phone, choose Dial, type the code including the # symbol, then select Call. The GTA 4 cheats use the very same dial-a-cheat phone system. Once a code connects it's saved to the phone's Cheats menu, and you select it there to actually turn the effect on. Codes stay in that list permanently and can't be reordered.

On PC, open the phone with Right Shift or through the pause menu, then dial. You can type the letter version of a code and it maps to the same digits, so #sunny and #78669 do the same job. A confirmation warning appears before the cheat activates.

On Xbox 360, open the phone from the pause menu and dial the code with the # symbol, then call it. You get the same pre-activation warning that PC shows.

On PS3, the steps match, but the Saints Row wiki notes one difference: PS3 doesn't show the pre-activation warning prompt that PC and Xbox 360 display. That single behavioral detail comes from one source, so treat it as a wiki report rather than a settled fact.

What cheats switch off: achievements, trophies, and saves

Here's the part worth reading twice. Activating any phone cheat disables autosave and blocks new achievements and trophies on that save, and the file gets marked with an orange star so you can see at a distance that it's flagged.

The three promotional vehicle codes are the carve-out. Per the Saints Row wiki, the Peewee (#7266837), the Gyro Daddy (#4976), and the D-Stroy UFO (#728237) don't trigger the achievement block on PC or Xbox 360. On PS3 those same three still flag the save as cheating, though autosave keeps running for them specifically, and again that PS3 detail rests on the wiki alone.

One more trap catches co-op players. If you play with a partner who has activated cheats, both save files get flagged as cheating, even when the host never dialed a single code. So if you care about a clean run, we'd keep one save purely for messing around and treat your main file as cheat-free. That's the same habit we'd keep for the GTA 5 cheats on PS4.
