Is Fall Guys crossplay? Every platform, explained

Fall Guys has full crossplay across every platform it runs on, and that includes mobile.

PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android players all match in the same pool by default. There's no console-only or PC-only lobby to work around.

Cross-progression is a separate question

The part we see people trip on is treating crossplay and cross-progression as the same feature. They're not.

Crossplay is playing in the same match as people on other devices. Cross-progression is your account and progress following you from one device to another.

Fall Guys supports cross-progression through a shared Epic Games Account. Link your platform account, whether that's Steam, PSN, Xbox Live, or a Nintendo Account, to the same Epic Games Account under Account > Connections.

Your level, costumes, currencies, and Fame Pass progress then carry across every platform automatically. The platform where you first link the Epic Games Account becomes your primary profile, per Mediatonic's official cross-progression announcement.

How to play with friends on another platform

Crossplay itself needs no setup. Every match already pulls from the combined cross-platform pool, so you're matched with other platforms whether you do anything or not.

To squad up with a specific friend on another device, you both need linked Epic Games Accounts. Link yours under Account > Connections, then add your friend through the Lobbies & Friends List using their Epic display name.

Once they're on your friends list, invite them into your party and queue together. Their platform doesn't matter.

Can you turn Fall Guys crossplay off?

No. There's no official setting to disable crossplay in Fall Guys, so every match pulls from the combined cross-platform pool.

If you specifically want to dodge certain platforms, the game doesn't give you that toggle. The trade-off is faster matchmaking, since everyone queues into one pool. Does Fall Guys have voice chat?

Yes. Fall Guys has an in-game Party Voice Chat feature, confirmed on Epic Games' official support page.

It's off by default, so turn it on under Settings > Audio > Party Voice Chat. There's an optional Push to Talk mode if you'd rather not run an open mic.

Because crossplay puts everyone in the same party system, Fall Guys voice chat works across platforms too.

Getting your cross-platform squad together
